The story of Career Skills is the story of four schools that started the journey of cooperating in an eTwinning project. The four schools represent three european countries: France, Greece and Spain. You can know more about our schools below.

France: College Les Goussons

Collège Les Goussons is a primary and secondary education school located in Gif Sur Yvette, Île de France in France. Our students are aged 11 to 15. There are about 730 students this year. They all take English as a first foreign language, but they have a wide range of second foreign languages to choose from: Spanish, German, Italian and Chinese. When they are 12, the can also choose to take Latin and when they enter their last year, they can also add ancient Greek.

Our school has multiple partnership and has been awarded the Etwinning-school Label. We have set partnerships with schools in Germany, Spain, Greece, England and China and we get visits from our partners from time to time.

Greece: ΓΥΜΝΑΣΙΟ ΑΛΙΑΡΤΟΥ

Γυμνάσιο Αλιάρτου (Gymnasio Aliartou) is a public secondary school located in the town of Aliartos, Boeotia, Greece. Situated at the intersection of Leoforos Dimokratias and Komninou streets (postal code 32001), the school serves students in the 1st to 3rd grades of Gymnasium (ages 12–15).

The school emphasizes interdisciplinary learning and digital literacy, leading initiatives that integrate technology into education.Genially.com

In addition to its academic offerings, the school fosters international collaboration through eTwinning projects. Current projects include:

Maths Around Us: Exploring the practical applications of mathematics in daily life.
School Gardens of Europe: Collaborating with schools across Europe to promote environmental awareness through school gardens.
Career Skills: Preparing students for the workforce by simulating job application processes.

Spain: Liceo Francés de Barcelona

The Lycée Français, in its current form as a school, was established in Barcelona in 1924. It has educated more than three generations of students to date. The school’s ambition is to contribute to strengthening cultural links between Spain and France through daily contact with students who may have different nationalities but who are educated by the same teachers and imbued with the same knowledge.

The school project of the Lycée Français de Barcelone is based on common objectives which are based on the shared values of a democratic society (respect for others, independence, responsibility, trust, embracing differences, secularism, solidarity, equity, tolerance, etc.) and has the ultimate goal of making the student the author of:

Their learning and education
The development of their personal and professional projects
Their social integration into a European society

Spain: Ciutat de l'Aprenent

CIFP Ciutat de l’Aprenent (Valencia, Spain) is a place where any student cannot only learn but also grow as a person. We try to foster personal and professional growth through the use of innovative techniques.

The school has 3 buildings and what I like the most is that it has many possibilities of degrees you can study. Also they do a lot of diferents actvities to promote relacionships between students from diferents degrees (Group 2)

We are proud of being an eTwinning school, to work in the Erasmus+ program, and to have more than 25 different VET (Vocational Education and Training) courses. We also have the program FP Dual to foster job placement and a job bank.
