Welcome to the cross-border collaboration project between three VET schools located in Italy, France, and Spain. The project was designed to enhance the employability skills of students and to prepare them for the job market. 

In the first phase, students from all three schools introduced themselves and shared their interests and aspirations. They got to know each other better and built a strong team for the project. 

The second phase involved creating job ads. The students had to research different job opportunities and read them. They then created job ads for the positions they found  interesting, paying attention to the job requirements and responsibilities. 

In the third phase, the students wrote cover letters for the job ads they had chosen. This required them to use their writing skills to showcase their strengths and qualities and demonstrate why they were the best fit for the job. 

In the final phase, the students recorded a job interview for the job they had applied for. They had to prepare and practice for the interview, demonstrating their communication and interview skills.

Throughout the project, students learned about the importance of employability skills and gained practical experience in applying for jobs. In the last step, the students gave advice to other students who may need to go through a selection process, sharing their insights and tips to help them succeed.

Overall, the project was a great success, providing students with the opportunity to learn and work collaboratively across borders, enhancing their employability skills, and preparing them for their future careers.

The CIPFP Ciutat de l'Aprenent aims to collaborate with companies and institutions to contribute to the development and enhancement of society, while promoting respect for the environment and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

 

The school also cooperate with companies and different institutions to develop and improve society through the respect of the environment.

We are proud of being an eTwinning school, to work in the Erasmus+ program, and to have more than 25 different Vocational Education and Training (VET) programmes. We also have the programne FP Dual to foster job placement and a job bank.

Our school, I.C. Paolo Borsellino and Giovanni Falcone, is located in Gavorrano (Italy). We have a total of 12 sections in the middle school. In the middle school, we have many classrooms: Art and Technology, Computer Science, Music, Science, and a Library. Of course, we also have a large gym. In the afternoon, the school organizes activities such as volleyball, basketball, Spanish, dance, theater, and art workshops.

The school is located in Gavorrano, a small village in the province of Grosseto. The institute is called "Giovanni Falcone e Paolo Borsellino" in honor of these two judges who fought against the mafia. The classrooms are spacious, and many are filled with posters because students make a lot of projects. There is an art room, a music room, a technology room, and a computer room. There is also a little garden where teachers sometimes take their students for "play time." Many classrooms have everything needed for students to practice that specific subject. Apart from being a middle school, it is also a primary school. We also have a gym with all the necessary equipment. For a school in a small village, it is pretty big.

The school is quite old; in fact, it dates back to the fifties of the last century, and it is located on Via delle Scuole in Gavorrano. It has four floors, an auditorium, and even a teachers' room. Additionally, the high school also has an outdoor space (used by both the secondary school and primary school) where students can have fun during their breaks.
